Shashemene Community Health Center
Sponsored By Nurses of Israel, Inc.
HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Malnutrition and the absence of prenatal health that has had a profound effect on the high rate of
Infant Mortality are some of the health problems we must deal with. Your donations will be money well spent in building this health
facility. It's not enough for us to provide health care in a tent or a substandard building. One of our goals is to provide a modern well
equipped medical facility that will stand the test of time by providing permanent and on-going health care for those of our fellowmen
who are less fortunate. Please help us!
The Nurses of Israel, Inc. is a New York State registered not-for-profit organization that has 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status, which was
granted by the Internal Revenue Service. As a result, donations to the organization are tax deductible.
The organization is also a registered Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in Ethiopia. On August 15, 2002, Nurses of Israel, Inc.,
signed a Project Agreement with the Government of Ethiopia to build and operate The Shashemene Community Health Center in the
